DESIGNER
EENK founder and creative director Hyemee Lee, whose lifelong fascination with print, type, and books shaped the brand’s identity, created EENK to express her unique vision of unconventional elegance and modernity. The brand name “EENK” is a playful variation of the word “INK,” inspired by the recurring letter “E” in her English name, LEE HYEMEE. Through the Letter Project, she aims to build a solid and diverse universe for the brand.
With extensive experience as a designer in womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, and fabric design across various brands and companies, Hyemee brings a diverse perspective that fuels the variety of EENK’s collections. She is deeply passionate about unfolding the brand's story through the Letter Project and, as a designer, crafting the brand’s unique originality—taking particular pride in these aspects.
Every silhouette, print, and detail in the collection is shaped by the ideas and hands of Hyemee and the EENK team, aiming to enhance the brand’s true essence. Just as letters form words and sentences come together to create a story, EENK hopes that the collections, expanded through the Letter Project, come together like a book you can't put down—drawing you in until the very last page.

EENK presents collections through the Letter Project, a concept that unfolds in alphabetical order from A to Z. As the journey continues through the Letter Project, EENK’s universe becomes more vibrant and captivating. By introducing seasonal keywords or capsule collections through each letter, we have expanded our scope from accessories to womenswear and menswear, continuously shaping EENK’s unique story. Just as a single letter stands powerfully on its own, when combined, they form sentences and stories—ultimately creating a complete narrative, like chapters in a book titled "EENK."
The Letter Project began with accessories, starting with B for Beanie and H for Handbag, along with other collections. In the FW18 season, EENK made its official ready-to-wear debut at Seoul Fashion Week’s Generation Next with the theme K for Knit. Since the FW22 season, the brand has taken decisive steps toward global recognition. To date, EENK has presented six runway shows in Paris during Paris Fashion Week, including W for W.W.W, X for the letter X, Y for YESTERDAY, Z for Zero to One, A for Aesthetics, and B for Binding. As the seasons pass and EENK progresses as a global brand, the focus remains on building a strong identity while thoughtfully reflecting on Korean aesthetics. By continuously interpreting and reinterpreting these aesthetics with a contemporary sensibility and the brand’s unique perspective, EENK has ultimately enriched its essence, deepening its distinct identity.
Like cherished classics that transcend time, EENK aspires for its stories and collections to become vintage pieces, treasured and kept for generations.
