SPRING/SUMMER 2020, P for Performance

For 20SS, EENK presents P for Performance, a collection inspired by silhouettes and movement in the art and philosophy of choreography. The main print for the collection was inspired by choreography sketches for the stage, using Trompe-l'œil technique to create an illusion of embroidery. Pieces were crafted with movement in mind, with carefully studied volume and silhouettes which combines the technical element of modern dance with classic references. The distinct style of wit of the brand stands out from unique styling of mixing textures and colors as tone-on-tone looks from head to toe, and unexpected ways of matching items and accessories in the show.

EENK is collaborating with Brooklyn based choreographer Lee Yanghee, renowned for multidisciplinary, experimental performing arts recreated from traditional Korean dance elements and collaborative projects with various interdisciplinary artists. The show for 20SS is a special performance directed by Lee herself, and will take the runway out of the norm and into a visceral artistic experience of its own.
